FINAL MEN'S SOCCER HOME STAND STARTS TONIGHT
PARKVILLE, MO--The Park University men's soccer program (10-5-2) hosts
the St. Mary College (Kan.) Spires (8-8-0) at 7:00 p.m. tonight at
Julian Field. On Saturday, the Pirates will host their final home
match of the regular season against the Harris-Stowe State College
Hornets from St. Louis, Mo. Seniors Adrian Callaghan and Jerod
Watkins will be recognized before the event. Both are four-year letterwinners
in the men's soccer program at Park University. Saturday's match
begins at 5:00 p.m. After Saturday's match, the men's program will
join the women's program as the teams await the conclusion of conference
tournaments for selections and seedings in the NAIA Region V
Tournament.

WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL RESULTS
PIRATES TAKE FIRST SET
BEFORE FALLING TO #16 GRACELAND
PARKVILLE, MO--The Park University
Pirates (6-23) stole the first set of Wednesday's match before dropping
the next three sets to #16 Graceland University (21-7) in NAIA Region V
women's volleyball action. Game scores, in favor of Graceland,
were 24-30, 30-19, 30-21, and 30-25. Park sophomore Jessica
Silliman, a 5-8 outside hitter from Bernie, Mo., had a team-high 26 digs
and four aces for Park. Silliman also leads the team in kills this
season, averaging 2.3 per game. Erin Holt had 20 assists and
nine kills for Park; Brianne Lehr also contributed nine kills. Women's
volleyball competes in the John Brown University Tournament this
weekend, in Siloam Springs, Ark. On Monday, Park hosts Rockhurst
University at 7:00 p.m. in the Breckon Sports Center.

University men's soccer has an all-time record of 4-5-0 (14 GF, 14 GA)
against Harris-Stowe State College since the Pirates' first soccer season
in 1983. Against St. Mary College (Kan.), Park is 2-1-0 with an
all-time goals scored advantage of 9-3.
