The Park-Lindenwood women's soccer rivalry has brewed for fourteen years, through nineteen head-to-head match-ups.  Historically, Lindenwood owns the slight edge, going 11-7-0 in matches with Park.  The Lions have outscored Park, 27-22.  Park's last win against Lindenwood was won 1-0 at a neutral site during the 1996 season. Last year and again this season, Park conceded 1-0 decisions to Lindenwood during the regular season.  In their match-up on October 17, Lindenwood's Lena Ingasrudoya netted the only goal of the match with under two minutes remaining. Lindenwood hosts Friday's regional championship, but the Lions also host the NAIA National Championship Tournament this season which assures them an opportunity to play for the national title this year.  Park must win Friday to advance to the national tournament.

The women's basketball game on Saturday, November 10, against York College at 1:00 p.m. features a special halftime shootout event organized by Professor Michael Fitzmorris' class.  Ten winners will have an opportunity to shoot half-court shots for prizes immediately following the first half of action.
