YOUTH, STRONG
BACKCOURT CHARACTERIZE O2-03 PIRATES
PARKVILLE,
MO-- In 2002-2003, the Park University men’s basketball program will be
carried on the shoulders of six returning letter winners and ten newcomers.

led by senior guard Kelly Kindall, a four-year starter from Fordland, Mo.
Kindall was the Pirates’ second leading scorer in 2001-2002, averaging
13.1 ppg and 2.7 rpg in one of the strongest guard trios in the program’s
history. Kindall is the only
returner on the team to be awarded NAIA Independent DI All-Region honors from

Kindall is joined this season by returning seniors Corneal Conn and
Shannon Thomas. Conn and Thomas
played in support roles during the 2001-2002 campaign, each registering critical
