PIRATES TRAIL BY 11 POINTS AT HALF AS BRUINS SPOIL
SEASON OPENER, 73-63
PARKVILLE, MO--Bellevue University (1-0) rallied to a 34-23 halftime advantage,
as Park University (0-1) was saddled by 21 turnovers in Saturday's loss to the
Bruins, 73-63. James Mills, a junior guard from Omaha, Neb., led Bellevue
with 23 points. Chuck Reed scored 17 points for Park; Dan Durrer had 10
points and nine rebounds.
Bellevue's biggest lead came early in the second half,

A Chuck Reed three-pointer got the Pirate back to a five-point deficit with 1:57
