Women's Golf Results
JOHNSON RANKS EIGHTH AT REGIONAL TOURNAMENT
OMAHA, NEB.--Freshman Katie Johnson, Park's lone representative at the
NAIA Region IV women's golf tournament, finished as the eighth low
medalist among 34 golfers participating in the event. Johnson shot
an 85 on Monday; on Tuesday, facing 45+ MPH winds, she came in with a 93
for a total of 178 in the event. The top finisher scored 163.

SEASON CLOSES WITH LOSS TO NEWMAN; EIGHT
PLAYERS HONORED BY MCAC
BELLEVUE, NEB.--Park University (28-25) concluded the 2004 baseball
season with a ten-inning battle against Newman University that ended in
favor of the Jets, 3-2.

SEVEN PARK SOFTBALL STUDENT-ATHLETES RECOGNIZED
BY MCAC CONFERENCE
WICHITA, KAN.--At the MCAC coaches meeting on Thursday, seven Park
University softball student-athletes were named All-Conference for the
2004 season. Park finished the season with a .500 record, going
19-19 overall, 7-7 in the MCAC. The Pirates finished fifth in the
league. The following players were selected by a vote of
conference coaches:

Baseball Results
PARK LOSES TO BELLEVUE, TOPS PERU STATE TO ADVANCE 
PARKVILLE, MO--Park University (28-24) suffered an 11-1 loss to
top-seeded Bellevue University on Thursday afternoon before rebounding
with a 7-6 win over Peru State College to eliminate the Bobcats and
advance in the MCAC tournament. Dusty Hylton tripled and drove in
Park's only run in the loss to the Bruins. Versus Peru State, R.J.
Nab, Robby Reed, Hank Edwards and Luke Johnson had two hits each; Dane
Phillippe and Andy Morgan each drove in two runs. At 5:00 p.m. on
Friday, Park will face the loser of the 2:00 p.m. game between #1
Bellevue and #2 Newman University.
