The subject matter covered under the CNS Certificate Program falls within the framework of the (ISC)˛ Common Body of Knowledge, a collection of topics relevant to information systems security professionals and used to assess the level of mastery required to obtain professional certifications like the CISSP® (Certified Information Systems Security Professional).

Furthermore, the CNS Certificate Program is currently undergoing a rigorous process to certify its courseware under the National Security Agency’s recognized National Training Standard for Information Systems Security Professionals, NSTISSI 4011.
