How to Get Started

Admission requirements for the Graduate Certificate in Computer and Network Security are as follows:

  • Online Application
  • A bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university or its foreign equivalent, with a minimum 3.0 grade point average
  • Applicants with a grade point average below 3.0 will be reviewed on an individual basis.
  • One of the following criteria:
    • Completion of an undergraduate or graduate degree in networking, engineering, computer science or Information Technology (IT) with a 3.0 GPA or better.
    • Completion of the MIS Concentration Area in the MBA/MPA Program with a 3.0 GPA or better in MIS
    • Significant work experience in the field.
    • Successful completion of IS 603 (Computer Network and Telecommunications) or Park CS 365 (B or better) or an equivalent course.
