The Park University MPA program, housed in the Hauptmann School for Public Affairs, is seeking qualified part-time adjunct faculty to teach at the Downtown Kansas City campus and online. Successful candidates must demonstrate expertise in one of the following areas: qualitative and quantitative research or economics and global strategy. Candidates must be willing to teach both face-to-face and online.

Responsibilities/Duties: The essential job functions and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to: instructing and grading class coursework, assigning final grades, and if necessary maintaining regularly scheduled office hours to meet with students.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate(s) will possess a Ph.D. in public administration, public affairs or a related discipline from an accredited university with several years of teaching experience. Candidates applying for an adjunct position to teach in the area of economics and global strategy must have a Ph.D. in economics. Additionally, candidates must be well organized, professional, and have strong communication skills. Teaching experience at the college level is highly recommended.
