Office of International Students ServicesFounded in 1875, Park University is situated on 800 acres of land overlooking the Missouri River. The campus consists of six academic buildings, three residence halls, the Graham Tyler Memorial Chapel, Alumni Hall, Breckon Sports Center, Thompson Student Center and the Mabee Learning Center. Located in 127,000 square feet of space underground, the Mabee Learning Center is an ultra modern facility which contains classrooms, the computer center and labs, the sports medicine center, Academic Support Center, Career Development Center, word processing services, the campus bookstore, physical plant operations and the McAfee Memorial Library. Park University is a fully-accredited, co-educational, private liberal arts, post secondary institution. Park University is located in Parkville, Missouri, a safe, quiet suburban community 15 minutes north of Kansas City, Missouri. Kansas City is at the approximate geographic center of the United States and is the 25th largest metropolitan area in the United States. The Kansas City metroplex is home to more than 1.5 million residents. In addition, Kansas City offers extensive cultural activities including the Nelson Atkins Museum, live theater productions, resident music and dance companies, as well as professional team sports in football, baseball, tennis, and soccer.
