Pioneer Services Foundation Scholarships

To be eligible, the applicant must:

• Be a military service member on active-duty or retired status, or
• The spouse of a military service member on active-duty or retired status, or
• The unmarried dependent of a military service member on active-duty or retired status, or
• The survivor of a deceased military service member who died while on active-duty or retired status.

The applicant must:

• Possess a current military identification card, and
• Be planning to attend or currently attending Park University, and
• Be degree-seeking (pursuing an Undergraduate or Graduate Degree), and
• Demonstrate financial need.

The Scholarship is awarded for no more than one academic year, up to a maximum of $4,000.00. Costs for textbooks and fees are allowed under the scholarship. Scholarship recipients must maintain a C average minimum.

The Pioneer Services Scholarship Recipient will be required to allow Park University and Pioneer Financial Services to use the recipient's name and photograph in recognition and promotional materials.

To apply for the scholarship, a student must complete the Park University "Endowed Scholarship Application," located in the financial aid section of Park's website. In order to be considered for this award, the student must indicate on the application that they are applying for the "Pioneer Services Foundation Scholarship."

In addition, since one of the criteria is financial need each applicant must complete the "Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)" form.
