When requested by Park University faculty members, we proctor individual exams. Each semester, during FINAL EXAM WEEK, many Park University Online Course students schedule their required proctored exams with us. ACTThe ACT is administered by the Park University Testing Center Staff only to students who are applying, or have been admitted to Park University. The total cost is $40.50 and is payable online when registering for the exam. NEW!--Register online for ACT at: https://www.park.edu/support/testregistration/index.aspx Questions? Required tests may include math skills, reading skills, writing skills, and/or English proficiency for non-native speakers. We use the COMPASS/ESL tests, produced by ACT. Students who need to take these tests may wish to prepare by looking at sample questions. For more info about COMPASS and sample questions, go to www.act.org. Point to the tab labeled "Assessments," and choose "COMPASS" from the menu that drops down. On the COMPASS page, the menu at the left includes the words "Sample Questions." Click that to have choices of sample questions from different tests. If you need to take placement tests on the Parkville campus, call the Academic Support Center, 816-584-6330, to make an appointment. If you are outside the KC metro area, but planning to attend the Parkville campus, you may be able to make arrangements to take the placement test in your own area in order to receive results and complete your advising before you arrive in Parkville. Call the ASC at 816-584-6330 for more information on scheduling your placement test through the COMPASS/ESL Remote Testing Network. When you call, please tell us you live outside the KC area and would like to set up a Remote COMPASS placement test.

ONLINE COURSE PROCTORINGAll Park University Undergraduate Online courses require a proctored final exam. Students wishing to complete their final exam in the Testing Center on the Parkville Campus MUST schedule a testing date and time by submitting a completed REQUIRED online proctor form prior to finals week. To access the proctor form follow the steps listed below:
We will process your request within two working days. At the most, you should receive your confirmation copy in your PirateMail within three working days. If you have not, you MUST contact the CDL at onlinestudents@park.edu to determine the reason. At the same time your confirmation is delivered to you, a copy is sent to your instructor, one is sent to the Distance Learning office, and one is sent back to the Testing Center. You will be required to have a proctor form on file in the Testing Center prior to completing your final exam. Please do not contact the Testing Center to confirm receipt of your exam. We confirm receipt to instructors only. If you do not know the location of the Testing Center, or need to reschedule your testing session, please try to call the week before testing begins.
