60 credit hours for the fine art major and
58 credit hours of professional education curriculum

Working closely with Park University’s Department of Teacher Education, art and design majors can become certified to teach art K-12.

They fulfill the academic degree requirements for a fine art major and 58 credit hours of professional curriculum in education. These courses include child and adolescent psychology, classroom management, diversity, teaching practicums, literacy, methodology, technology and directed teaching.
