About Park University
An independent institution founded in 1875 and rooted in the liberal arts, Park University serves nearly 23,000 students annually at 40 campus centers across the United States and on the Internet. Its main campus is in Parkville, Mo., outside Kansas City, but students from coast-to-coast consider Park their hometown university.

- Park was selected as one of 300 institutions across the country for the 2012-13 Colleges of Distinction list, the second consecutive year Park has been included.
- In 2012 the U.S. Department of Education recognized Park as having the second-lowest net price of any private, not-for-profit college or university in the United States.
- Park is 63rd in the nation for bachelor’s degrees conferred to African Americans and 76th for bachelor’s degrees conferred to Hispanics as ranked by Diverse Issues in Higher Education magazine.
Park is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, an assurance of quality recognized around the globe.
