Peace Journalism Perspectives Podcast


Peace Journalism Perspectives airs quarterly on KKFI-FM in Kansas City (90.1 FM). It features interviews with peace journalists from around the world, as well as the latest news from the Center for Global Peace Journalism at Park University in Parkville, MO. The program is produced and hosted by the center's founding director Steven Youngblood.


The current edition features a discussion with Park University Professor John Lofflin about media and the Trump administration. Also featured is an interview with Nigerian Professor Dr. Jacob Udo-Udo Jacob about the Peace Journalists' Network in Nigeria.



December, 2016-This inaugural edition of the show features audio from a discussion at a peacebuilding conference about rhetoric in the 2016 US presidential election, and a report on a PJ project in South Sudan. (28:00)
