the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) strives to offer meaningful and relevant professional enhancement opportunities and we welcome your feedback and suggestions. 

New full-time faculty begin their careers at Park University by attending New Faculty Orientation, a two-day event designed to warmly welcome you to all aspects of life at Park University.  Sponsored by the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning and the Office of Academic Affairs, New Faculty Orientation highlights the students of Park University, along with an in-depth look at the curriculum, teaching, scholarship, technology support and professional development opportunities at Park University. 

New Kansas City Area adjunct faculty begin their careers at Park University by attending the monthly Adjunct Faculty Meetings.  The Kansas City Area conference highlights basic academic policies and procedures, MyPark, preparing and submitting your syllabi, core assessment measures, eCompanion, and professional development. Other Campus Center's may hold their own orientations for their adjunct faculty, please check with your campus center director or academic director for more information.

New Faculty Orientation will be held August 9th and 10th in the Louise Morden Boardroom on the Parkville campus.  Please keep an eye on your email and mailbox for your invitation and packet of materials.  RSVP's are needed to cetl@park.edu by Monday, August 1st.
