Summer Scholarly Writing Group

The Scholarly Writing Group provides an opportunity for Park University faculty who are working on articles, book manuscripts, and dissertations to benefit from the support and accountability of a community of writers. In addition to facilitating collaboration and the sharing of resources among faculty writers, CETL's Scholarly Writing program also arranges guest speakers on a variety of topics, from grant writing to conference proposal writing.

The Scholarly Writing Group meets from 1:00-3:00 p.m. on the first and third Wednesday of each summer month (first week in June through the first week in August) as most Park faculty and staff find the summers a bit less hectic than the academic semesters.

• Dissertation planning and time management
• Documentation and formatting of scholarly work
• Scholarly publishing how-to's and venues
