Career Strategies for Academics
BPI - Career Strategies for Academics© offers an overview that explores the leading forces affecting higher education and the impact such changes have on all faculty. The module provides a primer on various faculty roles (i.e fixed-term appointment, contract renewable appointment, tenure-track appointments) and reviews the roles and responsibilities of each. The module provides researched recommendations for creating and maintaining one's professional portfolio, and offers specific examples and models. The module also review strategies for avoiding and handling academic burnout.

Facilitating Learning Online
BPI – Facilitating Learning Online© is designed to assist the novice or veteran instructor with research principles and empirically guided practices that have been proven effective in facilitating learning in fully online and hybrid learning environments. This module will review the myths and realities of online teaching, specific terminology used in online teaching, strategies for understanding and reaching learners through technology, and researched best practices in online interaction, community building, active learning, and assessment.

Teaching Today's Learner
BPI - Teaching for Today’s Learner© is designed to help instructors identify and address the unique talents and needs of today’s learner. Today’s learners include an integrated mixture of intergenerational learners with varying levels of experience and knowledge in a technology-mediated environment. Today’s learners reflect changes in society and differing expectations for what they hope to contribute to, gain from, and apply toward the learning experience. This module provides a brief primer to the adult education movement and paradigm shifts in higher education that have led to new model for learning. The module will also identify specific strategies and best practices for educating today’s unique learner.

Promoting Academic Honesty
BPI – Promoting Academic Honesty© offers definitions, approaches, and strategies for teaching academic honesty across the disciplines. This module presents research and best practices drawn from composition research. A review of two primary paradigms for approaching academic honesty—reactive and preventative—is followed by a series of guidelines for designing assignments and learning activities that help students understand and know how to avoid plagiarism.
