Previous Classes

CETL is pleased to announce the Presidential Leadership Program for Women Faculty, related to the promotion of collegiality and mentoring among Park University female faculty. Park University President, Dr. Byers-Pevitts, has developed and will participate in this important initiative to promote the advancement of faculty at Park University.

The Program will promote the exchange, support, and encouragement of female faculty throughout the Park University institution through mentoring events, ongoing mentoring of junior faculty, reflective synthesis and exchange among faculty, with experienced faculty and administrators recruited to speak on issues of leadership development, collaborative process, and scholarship in higher education.

Mission:

The Presidential Leadership Program for Women Faculty, facilitated by the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning, provides a venue for women faculty to define and pursue leadership excellence in their academic careers.

Goals: 

  1. Define leadership excellence for your academic career.
  2. Identify barriers to leadership excellence and resources to overcome those barriers.
  3. Recommend institutional changes to promote the status of women faculty at Park University.
