AR140 - Drawing I

Course Description: AR140 Drawing I: An introduction to drawing as the artists first and most basic skill, as a way of seeing and solving problems and as a means of personal expression that anyone can learn. The techniques of drawing in line and value (overall shading) in a variety of media (graphite, charcoal and ink) are covered. Subject matter includes still life, landscape, portraiture, and linear perspective. 1:5:3 (From catalog 2012-2013)
