Course Description: AR299B Interior Design Studio II - Fund of Interior Design: Interior Design Studio II builds on the concepts introduced in AR292A Interior Design Studio I, applying the design process to a series of residential and public space design projects, using the elements, vocabulary and principles or design. Life safety codes and accessibility guidelines are applied to projects. Skills and knowledge from pre and co-requisite studio and lecture courses are applied to design projects. Courses must be taken concurrently with AR299A. Prerequisite: AR292A & AR292B. 1:5:3 (From catalog 2007-2008)

Course Description: An introduction to the two dimensional methods of graphic communication used by architects and interior designers, with an emphasis on orthographic drawings used for construction drawings. Students will use tools and techniques to hone hand-drafting skills as well as be introduced to computer aided drafting using AutoCAD.
