CH329 - Intro to Instrumental Analysis

Course Description: CH329 Introduction to Instrumental Analysis: An introduction to modern instrumental methods of chemical analysis. The course will span theory of operation, instrument design and methodology, and applications of instrumental techniques. Electrochemical methods including potentiometry, voltammetry, and coulometry; spectroscopic methods including infrared, UV/VIS, MS, and NMR; chromatographic methods including gas, liquid, and thin layer; thermal methods of analysis; and kinetic methods of analysis will be covered. Prerequisite: CH328. 3:3:4 (From catalog 2012-2013)
