IS620 - Comp Security,Risk Mgt & Control

Course Description: IS 620 Computer Security, Risk Management and Control: Explore the threats and risks present in organizations due to the pervasive use of technology. Learn risk evaluation techniques and identify security and control techniques used to minimize threats and risk to the organization. Computer and information security topics emphasized include threat techniques, protective techniques, risk analysis, contingency planning, password techniques, encryption, network protocol and intercept devices. Prerequisite: IS 603 or comparable course (Park CS 365 Computer Networking) or relevant experience and IS605 or current enrollment. (From catalog 2012-2013)
