Course Description: ED608 Assessment: This course is designed to address current issues relating to assessment forma; and informal assessment, teached-made tests, authentic assessment as well as standardized tests and state mental mandated assessments. Students will become familiar with important assessment terminology and the implications of federal testing mandates. They will analyze and reflect on a variety of types of assessment used in schools, and learn the importance of using assessment results to make informed instructional decisions.
