Zeta Omicron Textbook Grant

 

The Zeta Omicron Textbook Grant, established in 2008 by members to recognize their past fifty years, awards an incoming, first-time freshman that has exhibited, in high school, academic excellence a $500 textbook grant.  The grant is a two-semester financial assistance for a first-time freshman majoring in history.  The grant is distributed at $250 per semester during the freshmen academic year.  The textbook grant does not cover textbooks during summer session(s).  If an awardee changes his/her major from history during their first semester, they will not be qualified for the remaining grant during the next semester of their freshman year.

Zeta Omicron Thesis/Project Prize

 

The Zeta Omicron Thesis/Project Prize, established in 2010, honors with a $500 cash award that student who shall submit to the Program of History during a given academic year the best thesis/project.  All entries must have a completed application and submissions of the application and thesis/project should be submitted to Timothy Westcott no later than Friday, April 15, 2011.

 

 

Oleva Morrison Myers Endowed Scholarship for History Majors

This Scholarship honors Oleva Morrison Myers, a 1932 graduate of Park College. Students must be full-time junior or senior history majors in good academic standing and must be involved in student activities or student government. For more information, see Park University's scholarship guide..
