The Major

Current students attending the annual American Historical Association meeting in Atlanta.

 

A Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Degree in History is available as a 16-week program only.  A course of study for a history major is developed by the student with the assistance of their full-time faculty concentration advisor.  The program, starting July 1, 2008, will consists of 42 credit hours (passed with a 2.75 cgpa or better in the major).

A minor in history is also available.

Park University 's faculty advisors in history are prepared to assist each individual student select an area of concentration (Applied History with New Media, European/Classical, or United States) that will enhance their educational experience and career prospects.

Park University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.

A Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Degree in Social Studies is also available.  Major requirements for a degree program are established by the University catalog at the time the major is declared.
