- (Effective 04/27/04) - Students applying for admission to the Master
of Arts in Teaching Program who have a Bachelors Degree in an area
other than the intended certification area, and who have already passed
the Praxis in the certification area, will need to complete only the content
area certification courses required by the Missouri Department of Elementary
and Secondary Education, not the content area courses required for the
Park University major. Students applying for admission to the Master
of Arts in Teaching Program who have a Bachelors Degree in an area
other than the intended certification area, and who have not passed the
Praxis in the certification area, will need to complete the content area
certification courses required by the Missouri Department of Elementary
and Secondary Education as well as the content are courses required for
the Park University major.
