Post-Tenure Review

(For a full description of the post-tenure review process, please see Appendix F of the Faculty Collective Bargaining Agreement.)

Tenured faculty members are subject to Post-Tenure Reviews. The post-tenure review of each tenured faculty member will be conducted every five (5) years.

The post-tenure review is designed to provide each reviewed faculty member a constructive evaluation of his or her teaching, scholarship, collegiality, and service. The review also will include an evaluation of the progress made by the faculty member in the implementation of his or her Professional Development Plan. The review also is designed to promote the exchange of pedagogical knowledge and techniques through peer observation and comment, to provide an incentive for the faculty member to stay current in his or her primary and secondary teaching fields, and to energize the faculty member with respect to professional responsibility and development.

Post-tenure policies and procedures are enumerated in Appendix F of the Faculty Collective Bargaining Agreement.
