Terminal Degree Policy

The terminal degree required for tenure and\or promotion considerations is a Master of Science in Nursing for Nursing Faculty, a Juris Doctor for Criminal Justice Faculty and a Master of Fine Arts for Arts Faculty. For all other disciplines the doctorate in the specific discipline is required.

This requirement will be included in the initial appointment letter for all newly hired faculty members.
