New Student Aid Guide

The Academic Year for Park University begins with the fall semester.   If your first attendance at Park University will be Spring (January or March start dates) or Summer (May, June or July Start dates), you will need to complete a 2007-2008 FAFSA or transfer your 2007-2008 federal financial information by adding Park University (Title IV Code 002498). If you will attend beginning with Fall term (August or October), you will need to complete a 2008-2009 FAFSA, which will be available online after January 1, 2008. You must apply at least 90 days prior to registration for any term of enrollment in order to assure that your aid package is complete. You must apply each academic year--this is the first step in determining you federal aid eligibility.

Apply Early for Financial Aid

Early application minimizes chances of delaying your financial aid.  You can access the Park University financial aid page at www.park.edu/finaid , which takes you to 'Apply in Four Easy Steps'.  The FAFSA application is also available at www.fafsa.ed.gov. The priority deadline for certain state and federal as well as some institutional financial aid is March 15 for the following academic year.

To be considered for federal financial aid, you must be admitted to Park as "degree-seeking." Once all requested documents are provided, an award notification letter will be sent via Pirate email advising the student of financial aid  eligibility. The Student Financial Services (SFS) office will verify that all required documents are on file and that the student is enrolled before requesting funds for each term. Class attendance through the enrollment adjustment period will be verified before any refunds are released by the Accounting Office.
