Scott joined the Park University faculty in 1998, coming from graduate studies at the University of Tennessee.
His research interests are fusulinids (Pennsylvanian aged microfossils) in non-biostratigraphic studies but he is currently working on projects on paleobotany, paleoentomology, vertebrate paleontology, the underground facility, and the historical collections at Park University.

David joined the full-time faculty at Park University in 2005. He is currently completing coursework toward his Ph.D. at the University of Kansas. His dissertation topic is the regional urban competition between St. Joseph and Kansas City during the mid- to late- 1800's, but his general research interests include a wide variety of both contemporary and historical human/cultural topics.
