What I Do
I serve both as the University's governmental liaison and key community
representative, most notably with the City of Parkville, MO and the Greater
Kansas City Chamber of Commerce. I am also responsible for cultivating
collaborations and new business opportunities.
My Park Story
I first came to Park as an MPA student in 1991. I worked for the legendary
Dr. Jerzy Hauptmann from 1992-1998 and returned to Park in 2005. I also
taught graduate and undergraduate public affairs/public administration courses
at Park from 1996-2008. Although I earned my undergraduate degree from
another institution, I feel more connected to Park and consider it to be my alma
mater.
My Current Community Activities
I serve as national president of the
American Society for Public
Administration and vice chair of the Parkville Economic Development Council.
