What I Do
I am responsible for leading the design, implementation and coordination of an
effective and well-integrated advancement program that supports the University’s
mission and strategic direction. I also oversee the administration, management
and accomplishment of the University Advancement goals in the areas of
fundraising, alumni relations and friend raising, business development,
community relations, governmental relations, special events, and advancement
services.
My Park Story
I joined Park University in my current position in January of 2008, having
served previously as vice chancellor of development at the University of
Missouri-Kansas City. I was attracted to Park because of its mission of access –
a passion of mine because I believe that higher education changes lives and
should be accessible to all who are willing to work hard to be successful in
college. I truly enjoy my time with Park and sharing the Park story nationwide.
My Current Community Activities
I currently serve as vice president of Nonprofit Connect, as a board of
directors member and chair of the Women’s Health Passion Team for Truman Medical
Centers Foundation, and as president of the Greater Missouri Leadership
Challenge Class of 2010.
