Why Give?

Why give to Park? As a private non-profit institution, Park cannot count on state support.

Park University remains one of the most competitive private educational institutions in its class, both in terms of tuition cost, and the cutting edge approaches the university uses to provide a better education to all Park students.
Accomplish more with your gift. Make more than a one time gift to a good cause – make an investment that will create ongoing returns. Change a life.
Reduce the debt burden students graduate with. Return the favor. Raise the bar.
Keep tuition costs affordable so that more students graduate and enter the workforce as
productive citizens and engaged community members.

What can my gift accomplish? Your gift will go to work immediately in all areas of University needs, including but not limited scholarships, academic programs, smart classrooms, community events, and much more. The possibilities are endless, but here is a short list:

A gift of just $0.87 per week would allow one student to either rent a $100 text book for one semester, or put $45 towards the purchase of a new or used textbook to keep for reference throughout their entire degree program.

$4.06 p/w would cover the cost of one credit hour of tuition for one military servicemember.

Two supporters giving $9.12 p/w would scholarship a student for a full undergraduate course – OR – cover the cost of providing assistive technology to a wounded soldier taking courses.

Want to do more? If just 20 people gave a generous $15.30 p/w, Park would be able to offer 20 full-ride scholarships for students at risk and/or minority youth attending Park’s six (6) day Summer Business Academy for high school students. OR – the same amount would provide for the development of five (5) brand new quality online courses that would be accessible worldwide.
