Junemester 2015 – Laxe, Spain


Spend a week at a sunny beachside resort in a picturesque Spanish fishing village, studying the cultural psychology or European literature. Visit Celtic burial tombs more than 6,000 years old. See the Atlantic Ocean from high atop a 2,000–year-old Roman lighthouse that is still in use today. Peer down from the ramparts of medieval castles where the Spaniards repelled invasions by Sir Francis Drake and Napoleon. Visit the tomb of St. James the Apostle at the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela.

ML 235, Survey of European Literature (LE designated class) with Dr. Silvia Byer

Program cost (pending final arrangements): $3,150
Includes: airfare, hotel, two meals a day and all activities with group.
