U.S. Teaching Assistantships at Austrian Secondary Schools

Once-in-a-lifetime opportunities to teach English in Austria through the Austrian government. Positions are located all round the country, and are paid.


Chilean Government English Open Doors Program

Each year, the Chilean government hires native speakers of English to teach in their public schools. This is a wonderful opportunity to have a short-term paid position in South America.


French Government English Teaching AssistantshipsThe Government of France hires native speakers of many different languages to teach in their public schools. Appointments are for ten months and are paid. 


Spanish Government North American Language and Culture Assistants in Spain

Each year, the government of Spain hires hundreds of native speakers of English to teach in their public schools. The Spanish government site has plenty of details on this program along with a link to the online application.


CIEE offers teacher placement for a fee, but the placements are guaranteed, vetted and paid.
