The 2008 Hauptmann Lecture Series
On Wednesday, April 9, Park University celebrated and honored the life and legacy of one of the most revered figures in its 133-year history, Jerzy Hauptmann, Ph.D., professor emeritus of political science and public administration, and founder of the School for Public Affairs, who passed away on January 29.Faculty, staff, alumni, and students were invited to attend the following events: • A memorial service at 3 p.m. in the Graham Tyler Memorial Chapel that paid tribute and commemorated Hauptmann's lasting impact on the individuals he touched and the University.
