  1. Adult Education Emphasis
    The Master of Education with Adult Education emphasis is part of an M.Ed. in Education and is designed to prepare candidates to support lifelong learning activities.  Candidates will receive the following:  engagement in active learning through critical thinking, leadership and facilitation needed for adult learning and development, adult education research, experimental learning, and conducting reviews of research and theory in order to create original ideas.  Graduates of the program are prepared for careers in teaching, designing and directing adult education programs.  This is a 36 hour degree program. Officers who have completed the CGSC C200 Block and the L100 Block will be eligible to receive up to nine transfer hours.

  2. Teacher Leadership Emphasis
    The Master of Education in Teacher Leadership Program is part of the M.Ed. in Education. It develops reflective educators who can be change agents in their lives of their students, in their schools, and in their communities.  Graduates of the program are better prepared for careers in teaching with associated faculty leadership positions.  Included in the Teacher Leadership Degree is a General Studies strand, which is offered online.  Graduates of the Teacher Leadership Program receive training to become reflective and visionary classroom teacher practitioners.  This is a 36 hour degree program.  Students who have completed the C100 courses and the L100 courses will be eligible to receive up to nine transfer hours that would be applied to the 15 elective hour requirement.
