Admission Requirements

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited U.S. institution or the equivalent from an international institution.
• A minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA in the bachelor's degree.
• A GRE score taken within five years of application.
• A student who is accepted pending receipt of all required documentation must submit complete and satisfactory records within 60 days (45 days in an 8 week session and/or summer term) after the first day of registration.

Application for Admission Procedure

To apply for admission, you must submit the following materials to:

• A completed application for admission to the Graduate School. Students must be admitted by both the Communication Arts department and the Park University Graduate School. Please submit a copy of your resume in addition to the application form.
• Official transcripts of all previous college work, both undergraduate and graduate. Please have your college or university registrar enclose the transcripts in a sealed envelope with his/her signature across the back flap. Do not open the envelope, as only transcripts received in sealed envelopes will be accepted.
• Three (3) Letters of Recommendation from individuals, such as employers and/or faculty, in a position to comment meaningfully and specifically on your abilities and potential for graduate work. The statements must be completed on a Letter of Recommendation form. Be sure to complete the top section of each form, indicating your desire to waive or not to waive your right to see the recommendations. Please ask the individuals to enclose their completed form in a sealed envelope with his/her signature across the back flap. Do not open the envelope, as only those received in sealed envelopes will be accepted.
• Scores from the Graduate Record Examination (GRE). While the committee emphasizes verbal and quantitative scores, the analytical section score is also evaluated. Be sure to use Institution code 6177 (Park University) on your application to have your test scores sent directly to Graduate Admissions Office.
• A check for the application fee for $50.00 made out to Park University.
