June 23rd, 2003 WEEEEEEELLLL, long time since an update so lets go...

First off I didn't go to Japan.  One of the biggest mistakes I made in my life.  I thought I was in love so I stayed here hoping it would be the one.  It wasn't.  I also got offered a great job coaching football and teaching high school.  Added to that I really started to freak out about all the money I was supposed to take with me. Everyone kept saying you need 3000 dollars in your pocket. I had 500.  So long story short I didn't go but wish I had.  It all seems kind of strange now. I was driving around the other day wonder what to do since I wasn't going to be teaching this next year.  A thought came to me that I should reapply for JET.  The very next day I got an email from Tracie asking me to reapply.  I am not a super religious guy but this seems a little to much to be coincidence to me.  So I have decided I am going to reapply.  I hope they wont hold it against me to much.  Its not often you get to correct big mistakes.

June 10th, 2002 I added a lot of stuff to the web page today.  I have put information in the Gift section, the lesson section and added Lyndsay Newton's bio and pic. I have also started a flash section where I will be making flash stories of Samurai Brads Adventures.  Funny seems he has already arrived in Japan and I am still here. :)  go ahead and check it out and tell me what you think.
June 9th, 2002 Today we had our first lessons in ALT Japanese.  Tracie is a great teacher because she wears here pajama bottoms while teaching :) She will claim that they are not pajama bottoms but draw string light pants.  I however happen to know what pajama bottoms look like.

The class was well attended and fun an education was had by all.  Funny I have had 2 semester of Japanese and I seemed as lost as the next guy.

We tried to discuss some stuff about Japan and Tracie gave us an interesting demonstration of how to showing and use the restroom in Japan.

June 8, 2002 Attended the Q&A today.  I will have a long description up on the Q&A Journal section.  Please check it out.

I got real excited last night when I got home form the Q&A because I was delivered something from my Prefecture. I thought for sure they would be telling me where I was going. Alas no such luck. It was basically a letter saying "Sorry, we dont know where your going yet but here is your contract please sign it" hmmm I will talk to Tracie about this one.

Well every Samurai needs a nemisis.  So after the Q&A last night I have found mine. His name is Ninja Dave.  He is very evil and this is his picture.

June 6, 2002 Attended the NIJIKAIWA, this is where a bunch of peps come and try to speak japanese at a starbucks in the plaza.  They are fun and a good time is had by all.  Tonight I got to meet two other JETS, Liberty and Lin.  They rock and Japanese men are going to be lucky to get to see them, NUFF SAID.  I would also like to thank Tracie for having us over for Japanese classes starting this sat.  She rocks.  Guys if you ever want to destroy your life forever just have her do her little girl japanese voice for you.  You will never be the same again.  She rocks though .  Melanie also attended tonight and I enjoyed having her there. I like to share things that are important to me with those I find important.
June 1, 2002 Well, looks like I accidentally erased the may journal. Oh well nothing really important there anyway
June 1, 2002 Ok, I have made changes to the web page and I have archived the May journal.  If you want to go read it please click the link above.

Seems Melanie is concerned that I will post something in my journal that would be horrible embarrassing to her HAHAHAHA.  I would never do something like that.

All I have to say about Melanie is...

WOW!
