KCMO Tree Site Identification Project – URGENT VOLUNTEER NEED IN APRIL!

FLEXIBLE - CAN BE DONE ON VOLUNTEER’S OWN TIME PRIOR TO 4/26

Be part of the solution to climate change! The City of Kansas City, Missouri is undertaking a climate protection plan that includes the goal of planting 120,000 additional trees over the next 10 years. This first stage requires identification of available planting sites. Heartland Tree Alliance, an affiliate of Bridging The Gap, offers a wonderful opportunity to be part of this ambitious, important effort. Trainings available at a time of your choosing in April; maps must be completed and turned in by April 26. Minimum age to volunteer: 18, or a volunteer may be any age if volunteering with a parent or legal guardian.
