Mathona Ly
Born: Bottambag

He describes his community:

I was born and raised in Bottambag, the second largest city in Cambodia. As big as it is, I would say it's not big enough because it's a community where you can know almost everyone who lives in it. Only the life style of people is different, meaning people like privacy - people you talk to are only your friends and family members. My community is like any other city, where you will find the majority of the housing system is apartment buildings. The city streets are always busy, full of people going in and coming out of work. We have a good reliable public transport system, but the majority of people own their own cars and mostly motorcycles. For entertainment, most families and friends visit our big beautiful dam just outside of the community. This is where people go fishing for fun and for some people for their small business; some people just go to the dam to spend some time with the rest of their families and relax. Because my father is a well known doctor in the entire province, many people know my family. There is not really that much to tell but if you see it, you will love it.
