Leslie Henrie
Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, Leslie Henrie moved to the mid-west in 2002 to study violin at the University of Kansas with Ben Sayevich. She completed her Master of Music degree there in May 2006 and is currently pursuing her Artist’s Certificate at Park University. While living in Utah she received her Bachelor of Music degree in Violin Performance from the University of Utah where she studied with Gerald Elias and Mikhail Boguslavsky. Professional credits include member of the Utah Chamber Artists, Orchestra at Temple Square, Salt Lake Community College Grand Theater, and substitute member of the Utah Symphony and Utah Opera. She is currently the Associate Concertmaster for the St. Joseph Symphony as well as a free-lance musician and violin/viola teacher in Kansas City. She lives in North Kansas City with her husband Michael and 5-year-old son Connor.
