The following list shows changes that became official Park policy starting in May 2009 with the advent of the 2009-2010 catalog
- CS301 - Assembly Languages has been removed from the course catalog.
- Requirements for the Network & Security major have changed
- CS368 - Distributed Computing has been replaced with CS22 - Web Programming II .
2008-2009
The following list shows changes that became official Park policy starting in July 2008 with the advent of the 2008-2009 catalog.

We've updated course descriptions for several courses so that the course descriptions more accurately
reflect what's being taught in the courses:

We've changed prerequisites for several of our courses:
- For CS 314, add CS 360 or IS 361 as a prerequisite/corequisite
- For CS 365, make the prerequisites CS 208 and CS 151
- We're no longer offering IS 470. It has been removed from the catalog.
- CS 490 is available for 1-6 hours of credit

We've modified the curricula for several of our degrees:
- The elective for the Associate of Science degree now must be at the 300-level or above.
- MK 453 and CS 322 are now listed as specified electives for the Data Management specialty area.
- EC 141 no longer required in the Data Management specialty area.
- CS 321 is now in the core curriculum for all ICS specialty areas.

The ICS departmental comprehensive examination is now embedded in the
capstone course for each specialty
