CS 385 : Modern Developments in Advanced Networking

Course Description

CS385 Modern Developments in Advanced Networking Prerequisites: CS371 and CS372 This course introduces WAN technologies and network services. Course topics include (but are not limited to): WAN technologies, connection options, troubleshooting, and security. This course may include various hands-on networking projects. Cisco recommends four areas of study in preparing for the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) exam. This course includes the fourth area of study. 3:0:3

  1. Examine various WAN connection methods, and technologies.
  2. Evaluate various WAN designs.
  3. Analyze WAN security.
  4. Experiment with WAN configuration, and troubleshooting methods.
