Faculty Exchange The International Experience Professors and students exchange ideas and fellowship in China, Brazil, and South Africa Professor Getty's Journal Carol Getty, an Associate Professor of Criminal Justice, taught in Taiwan as part of her sabatical. Professor Koudou selected to the Fulbright Scholar Program Nicolas Koudou will spend nine months in the Republic of Benin, located on the western coast of Africa, researching and teaching.

Throughout its 130-year history, Park University has maintained a rich tradition of international programs and activities. Today, Park is a center for excellence and innovation in global education. Park's international programs include:

• International Student Services
  Assists approximately 450 students from 91 countries.
• International Student Admissions Guide
  Learn about admissions requirements for international students.
• English as International Language (EIL@Park)
  Provides English as a second or other language classes for Park students. Offered at three levels- beginning, intermediate, and advanced-classes are academically oriented and give credit applicable toward graduation.
• Office of International Education and Study Abroad
  Prepares students to become globally literate citizens.
• The International Center for Music
  Fosters the exchange of master teacher/performers, renowned young musicians, and music programs from countries across the globe.
• The Internationalizing the Curriculum Committee
  The Internationalizing the Curriculum Committee serves as a clearing house of resources to augment current curriculum with international topics. The committee has developed and manages an eight semester cycle of international areas of emphasis, so that faculty may introduce consistent themes within their current course materials. Throughout the course of the cycle, all faculty and students will have the opportunity in investigate specific issues in all areas of international endeavor.
