Global Future Washington D.C. Experience

February 16-19, 2011

Every year, participants in the Global Future program are invited to apply for the Washington D.C. experience. This four-day program gives students an intensive introduction to Washington D.C. and its international business activities. Highlights of the past years' programs include visits to:

Arlington National Cemetery Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center
Bureau of Engraving and Printing Supreme Court
Federal Trade Commission U.S. Capitol
International Monetary Fund U.S. Patent and Trademark Office
International Spy Museum White House
Newseum World Bank

You can also view two wonderful videos posted on YouTube with highlights of past D.C. programs. The first video features highlights of the 2009 program, created by Park University Office of International Education and Study Abroad program coordinator Fabio Garcia. The second video was created by Otabek Yuldashev, a 2007 Washington D.C. Experience participant.

Students stay at the State Plaza Hotel, located on the campus of the George Washington University. Each room is equipped with two queen size beds and a full kitchen, in addition to the usual hotel amenities.

The application deadline is December 15, 2011.

To be eligible for this program, students must be active participants in Global Future who agree to attend at least three of the six yearly sessions.
