People to People International - Park University Chapter Mission: To enhance international understanding and friendship through cultural, educational, and humanitarian activities involving the exchange of ideas and experiences directly among peoples of different countries and diverse cultures.
The Park University PTPI chapter, which began in 2000, encourages its local and international student members to promote the organization’s goals of peace and understanding to the Park University and greater Kansas City communities through its sponsored programs: Model United Nations, Model Organization of American States, Cultural Sharing, International Classroom Partnership, Coming to America, and Cultural Museum.
The Park PTPI chapter also participates in various campus and community service events such as Park University Fright Night, the annual Kansas City AIDS Walk and Operation Iraqi Children, a program of People to People International.
