Unite for Sight

  • Trains volunteers to support and assists eye clinics globally
  • Hands-on training in international community-based eye care, public health, and international development

Thailand Volunteer Teachers

  • Full-time positions
  • Teach English in rural public elementary and high schools
  • Housing provided (usually with a host family or in teacher housing)
  • Cost of $4,990 covers airfare, housing, insurance, and a $150/month stipend for in-country expenses

Honduras Volunteer Teachers

  • San Jeronimo Bilingual School - community-managed non-profit school
  • Serves 220 socioeconomically diverse students
  • Job includes planning lessons and teaching all subjects except Spanish and Honduran Social Studies
  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • Proficiency in Spanish not required but basic skills are recommended

Marshall Islands Volunteer Teachers

  • Teach English as a Second or Foreign Language
  • 11 month program
  • Funding covers round-trip airfare, health insurance, in-country training, room and board, as well as a $2,000 stipend

India Volunteer Teachers

  • Teach computer skills and English to children
  • May also help in nearby leprosy colonies through medical mission or by teaching children who cannot attend school
  • 11 month program
  • Committment of $4,990 which covers airfare, health insurance, housing, and monthly stipend
