Study Abroad in Thessaloniki, GreecePark University invites you to spend a summer, semester or academic year studying at the American College of Thessaloniki in Thessaloniki, Greece. Programs start at $3,195 without airfare. This program is financial aid eligible.
Summer 2011 program dates: June 20- July 22 Fall 2011 program dates: Sep 16- Jan 26 Located in Thessaloniki, Greece’s second largest city and close to some of Greece’s most beautiful beaches, ACT’s study abroad program offers a rich classroom experience coupled with opportunities to visit local archaeological and historic sites, climb Mt. Olympus, attend outdoor concerts and festivals and sail Thermaikos Bay and the sea beyond. Courses span a broad range of topics and disciplines aiming to meet the needs and interests of U.S. college students wanting to fulfill electives or major requirements at their home school or discover Greek culture, history and language. Students are introduced to life in Thessaloniki through a two-day orientation program. Housing comprises comfortable studio apartments (with private baths and kitchenettes) located in the center of Thessloniki, steps away from everything. Students select courses from offerings in the following fields:
