Study Abroad Faculty Advisory Board

The Study Abroad Faculty Advisory Board was created in 2006 to assist the Office of Global Education and Study Abroad (OGESA) in the planning of study abroad programs, revision of programs, and making recommendations on competitive grants. The Board holds a minimum of two meetings per academic year, and has advised the OGESA on issues regarding new study abroad programs sites, vendors/partners for Park University-run programs, participants in study abroad programs, scholarship recipients for study abroad programs, faculty proposals for new study abroad programs, and faculty/staff participation in study abroad and related programs.

Board members are appointed by the Provost or elected by the Faculty Senate of Park University. Members of the Study Abroad Faculty Advisory Board for the 2010-11 academic year are:

Dr. Carol Getty, Associate Professor of Criminal Justice

Dr. Steve Hallman, Assistant Professor of Management/CIS

Dr. Lolly Ockerstrom, Assistant Professor of English

Dr. Jutta Pegues, Assistant Professor of History

Wendy Richardson, Assistant Professor, School of Nursing

Dr. Jane Wood, Dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences
